The Investment Property Score is one of Mashvisor's proprietary metrics that calculates the probability that a property will generate the expected investment returns. It is located in the left column of the property details page, below the Cap Rate and beside the Mashmeter.

In addition to adding this metric to the property details page to help you analyze the property, we added a filter option to display properties with your desired Investment Property Score. This allows you to focus only on the properties with the highest investment potential.

How to Set the Investment Property Score Filter

  1. Go to Map Property Finder under Find & Invest in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. In the search box at the top of the page, enter the city or neighborhood you wish to search for, then press Enter or click the magnifying glass icon.

  3. To find the Investment Property Score filter, click More Filters, located above the map, to open the Filters drawer.

  4. In the Filters drawer, scroll down the list of filters until you see Property Score (Investment Likelihood). Then, click the blue +Add button opposite the text.

  5. Click on either points on the scale and move it until you've selected the scores you want to see. "1" is the lowest probability score while "5" is the highest.

  6. Click the blue Apply Filter button at the bottom of the Filters drawer to apply the filter and display the properties that match the filters you set.
