It is important to note, though, that this section also contains the city’s regulatory ranking, which indicates if it is friendly to vacation rentals. Clicking on the Read More link will give you an overview of the short-term rental regulations in the area.
Migration Trend. This shows you the quarterly migration trend that takes place in any given location.
Housing Supply. This shows the number of houses for sale vs. the average number of days they've been on the market before selling to show the competitiveness of the market.
Properties for Sale. This shows you the number of properties currently available and listed in the area.
Rental Strategy. This shows you the number of rental properties in the area under both short- and long-term rental strategies. Just click on both tabs to see their differences.
Optimal Property Types.
Occupancy and Average Revenue. This section shows you the historical data for both occupancy rates and average revenue for the past 12 months.
You may look into each data further by customizing your search. Simply click on the drop down menus to select the property type and the number of bedrooms to see the data for comparable properties.
Step 5: When you’re done going over the information, simply zoom out on the map to look at another market or scroll up and close the Market Overview tab.
