Once you have all of your properties’ settings and calendars set up, you’re ready to make your properties available for booking and start receiving guest inquiries and booking requests.

Luckily, one of the simplest yet most effective features that Mashvisor’s tool offers is a unified inbox feature to let you communicate with guests coming from all the different booking platforms in a single inbox.

This is a simple communications tool similar to any other messaging software allowing you to quickly exchange messages in a chat format with guests who book your properties.

On the left side of the Inbox page, you’ll see a list of contacts that have messaged you with their names, the date of the last message, as well as a convenient check-in date for each guest.

When you click a conversation, you will see new icons appear on the right side of the screen that allow you to see more information about the conversation:

Starting with the top icon - clicking this will expand the section to show you more details about the specific reservation related to this conversation.

This includes the status of the reservation, the number of guest adults and children, the channel through which the reservation was made, the property that’s being reserved, as well as the check-in/check-out dates and the duration of the stay.

Clicking on the icon below will expand the listing’s information:

Here you will be able to see all the basic information about your property including its listing name, type, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, guest capacity, available amenities, and any extra information that you’ve added.

Finally, the bottom icon will expand the guest’s information and let you edit some basic info about that contact:

Here you can see the guest’s name and contact details, including their phone number. You can also add custom notes about each contact to help you remember important details about them in the future.
