Our team at Mashvisor knows that different investors have unique preferences when searching for investment properties. That's why the Map Property Finder can be viewed in two formats: Map or Table.

The Map View

By default, the Map Property Finder displays search results as a map of your desired city or neighborhood. Each property is represented by a dot on said map, and there's a list of these listings on the left side of the page.

How to Use the Map View

  1. Go to Map Property Finder under Find & Invest.

  2. In the search bar at the top of the page, enter the city or neighborhood that you wish to look up.

  3. Look beside the search bar to see the Map and Table buttons. If the Map button is highlighted in blue, that means that Map View is enabled. Otherwise, click on the Map button to enable Map View.

  4. If you wish to refine your search, use the filters to narrow down properties based on:

    • Cap rate

    • Property type

    • Property status

    • Number of beds and baths

    • And more

  5. You may also activate the heatmap to visualize which areas have the highest/lowest:

    • Cash on cash return

    • Rental income

    • Listing price

    • Airbnb occupancy rate

  6. Either hover on one of the dots on the map or scroll down the list on the left-hand side of the page to see basic information about a property.

  7. Click on your desired property to open its property detail page for more information.

The Table View

Meanwhile, the Table View is perfect for users who want to see a side-by-side comparison of the listings before deciding which one to click on.

How to Use the Table View

  1. Go to Map Property Finder under Find & Invest.

  2. In the search bar at the top of the page, enter the city or neighborhood that you wish to look up.

  3. Look beside the search bar to see the Map and Table buttons. If the Table button is highlighted in blue, that means that Table View is enabled. Otherwise, click on the Table button to enable Table View.

  4. If you wish to refine your search, use the filters to add more cities or narrow down properties based on:

    • Cap rate

    • Property type

    • Property status

    • Number of beds and baths

    • And more

  5. You may sort the results by price, cap rate, number of beds or baths, size, and date listed.

  6. Click on your desired property to open its property detail page for more information.
