If you don't know already, Airbnb has two host types: the normal host and the Superhost.
When you sign up for Airbnb and create your listing, you're automatically designated as a normal host. Meanwhile, Superhosts are what Airbnb calls the top-earning hosts on the platform. They need to meet certain criteria to get this badge of honor and enjoy the benefits that come with it.
Because of the importance of this status, our team at Mashvisor thought it was important for our users to find Airbnb comps that belong to either a normal host or Superhost when they do research. Thus, we created the Host Type filter to display the short-term rental listings of the selected host type.
How to use this feature:
Go to Map Property Finder, under Find & Invest.
Enter your preferred city or neighborhood in the search box at the top of the page.
Select Airbnb Comps to see the short-term rental listings in the area.
Click on More Filters.
Click the blue +Add button opposite Host type status.
Click the dropdown and select whether to display listings belonging to All hosts, Normal Hosts only, or Super Hosts only.
Click the blue Apply Filter button when you're done.
