To export the Excel sheet report for a neighborhood's data on Mashvisor, please follow these steps:

Step 1: In the search bar on our homepage, type in the name of the city that you're interested in.

Once you have chosen a city, the search results should take you to the city view where you will be able to see all neighborhoods in that city and the number of properties within each neighborhood.

Step 2: Choose/click on the neighborhood that you're interested in on the map.

Once you click on the neighborhood, the map will zoom in to that neighborhood and you will be able to view the properties that are within that neighborhood.

Note: Please keep in mind that the neighborhood you have chosen will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, with the name of the neighborhood and its stats.

Step 3: Select the type of properties that you want to export in a report from the 3 tabs on the right-side panel.

These tabs will show you investment, Airbnb, and Traditional properties respectively.

  • Investment: properties that are listed for sale regardless of their type or status.

  • Airbnb: rental properties that are listed on Airbnb (short-term rentals).

  • Traditional: rental properties that are not listed on Airbnb and that are rented out traditionally (long-term).

Clicking on any of these tabs will change the search results to only show the respective properties.

Step 4: To download the Excel sheet report for a neighborhood, you first need to have a neighborhood selected.
As mentioned above, to know what neighborhood you have selected, the name of the neighborhood will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Also, keep in mind that the report you download will be for the type of properties you have selected from the 3 tabs mentioned above.

To download, click on the Export button on the top right corner of the screen.

Note: Keep in mind that zooming out of the neighborhood level will increase the number of properties that are being displayed on screen. This, however, will not affect the results shown in the neighborhood report.
Example: If you're viewing a neighborhood that has 50 properties in it, the number of properties will be shown above the panel on the right. But if you zoom out on the map, the number of properties shown will increase, and will be reflected on the right-side panel. This, however, will not affect the results shown in the neighborhood report, and the properties included in the report will only be the properties that exist within that neighborhood, which is the first number of properties that was displayed when you first viewed the neighborhood.

Quick Recap:

Step 1: Type in the name of a city in the search bar.
Step 2: Click on the neighborhood that you're interested in.
Step 3: Choose the type of properties that you want to export.
Step 4: Hit the Export button to download the Excel sheet report.
